“Patience: The Benefits of Waiting”
I am reminded of this beautiful song recorded by James Cleveland
”Please be patient with me…. God is not through with me yet…. when God gets through with me…..I shall come forth like pure gold. “
Patience is an important virtue for a Christian to develop. It gives us the ability to be a true witness for the glory of God. What is God working in
you? What weakness needs strengthening? What strength needs challenging? What attitude needs changing? Our God is able!!! “ But let patience have her perfect work ... ( James 1:4 )

"God’s Grace”.
David sinned by numbering the Israelites, contrary to the advice of Joab God rebuked David through the prophet Gad, giving him a choice of one of three calamities: three years of famine; three months of defeat by the hand of their enemies; or three days at the hand of the Lord
(1 Chronicles 21: 11-12)
.
David’s response reveals his ability to grasp the concept of God’s Grace. He replied by saying “I am in great distress; please let me fall into the hand of the Lord, for His mercies are very great. But do not let me fall into the hand of man” (verse 13).
Grace is not simply leniency when we have sinned, but Grace is the oxygen that the Christian needs to breathe

“God's Hand in Everything”
Joseph said to his”brothers in Genesis Chapter 50, verse 20 "As for you, you meant evil against me, but God used it for good." Joseph was thrown into a pit, but ended up in a palace, Why? Because no matter what the intention of people, be it good or bad God has a sovereign plan for your life. And what God means to happen, will ultimately happen. He will organize, harmonize, and pull things together to bring about His own ultimate end. Be encouraged, and look for God’s Hand in every detail of your life!

Praise and Worship (P&W)
“Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice: Worthy is the Lamb who was slain To receive power and riches and wisdom, And strength and honor and glory and blessing!” (Revelation 5:11-12)
There is a purpose why these angels, creatures, elders and believers are worshiping and praising God. The purpose in not only to give recognition to God, but it is very much to move the Hand of God, by loving, adoring and exalting Him. So yes my friend , when the praises go up, the blessings come down

“Good Fruit or Bad Fruit ”
The proof of our faith is found in the makeup of our lives. If others seek proof of what we say, they will not look for it in , how well we dress, speak, or how well we quote Scripture. But they will look for it in our love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. (Galatians 5:22-23) So lets see who is bearing the biggest, sweetest, and the
best……fruit today!
Love yall!

“No Shortcuts”
Matthew 7:24-27 Jesus talked about two houses, one was built on rock ,the other on sand. Jesus said when the rains came down, the house on the sand crumbled, but the house on the rock stood firm .Those houses build on a faulty foundation, will look good for awhile .but sooner or later they will crumble . Just like in the story of the “Three Little Pigs”, One made their house of straw (it was the quickest), one built his house out of sticks, and the last one built his house out of brick. Well
when the big bad wolf came along,,,,, I am sure you know what happened…… So . “No Shortcuts”

"The Devil Didn't Make Me Do It.!"
The blame game is as old as human history. In the garden of Eden, after Adam and Eve disobeyed God and sinned, they both began shifting the blame. Adam said, “The woman whom you gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.” (Genesis 3:12) Eve then turned around and blamed the devil, "The serpent deceived me, and I ate." (Genesis 3:13) And even today, we are still saying “The devil made me do it.” Maturity in Christ requires us to stop shifting the blame upon others, when bad things happen to us, sometimes it is not our cross, that we have to bear, but it’s our crop that we have to reap!. Yuck, sour grapes

“Don’t Mess With My Flow”
Just as water flows naturally out of the heart of the earth through springs, our life flows naturally out of the spring of our heart. If we are full of anger, bitterness, and resentment, that's what will flow out of us. But when we become rooted and grounded in God, His love , joy, and peace will naturally flow, and we will start to grow and flourish.! So “Don’t Mess With My Flow”
Proverbs 4:23 "Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life"

“Just For You”
God loves you unconditionally. You are His child! No mistake, no weakness, no past experience, no past behavior, is outside of the healing and redemptive power of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ . His grace is sufficient to make you whole.( 2 Corinthians 12:9) ~ My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.

" Something We Need"
Patience will take us beyond our comfort zone, into an area we do not want to go. Yet, when we do, we are better and more able to be used by God and to be available for others. Patience also allows us to wait on God’s timing, and to
endure even during the tough times. when the clouds of our lives obstructs our view. So my friend, a little patience goes along way, and a lot of patience will take you even further! “Let patience have [her] perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing “(James 1:4)

"What Are You Expecting?"
Expectation is closely linked to faith. If we read God’s Word, pray, or attend a church service ,with little expectation God is going to say anything to us, then we are unlikely to experience His direction or guidance. in Hebrews 11:6 lets us know that "He rewards those who earnestly seek him" . And when we seek Him with our whole heart, we can sing (along wit the Clark Sisters) “ I'm looking for a miracle, I expect the impossible, I feel the intangible & I see the
invisible

"Well Dressed/ Suited and Booted"
Ephesians 6:11 - Put on the whole armor of God,
Put on your Helmet of salvation by guarding your mind with the confidence you have in Christ. Wear the Breastplate of righteousness by living with integrity, Put on the Belt of truth by grounding yourself in God’s Word Wear the Shoes of peace by letting God’s peace rule every step you make.Put on the Shield of faith by placing your trust in God and His promises. Pick up the Sword of the Spirit – the Word of God – and declare" No weapon that is formed against me shall prosper; and every tongue that rise against me in judgment shall be condemned ..

“Living A Godly Life”
The Bible tells us that those who desire to live godly in the world will suffer persecution. Often times, Christians find themselves in a hostile environment, hated by those who are closest to them; and even by those who profess the same faith - but actually are false brethren. This can be very hurtful to a new believer in Christ: and it may even damage seasoned believers. But the Bible tells us in Matthew 5:10-12 “ everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted while evil men and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.”, Well I must ask, have you been persecuted lately (for righteousness sake) ? Don't sweat it , take comfort in the fact that you are Christ’s

:" I'm Coming Out With Something".
Psalm 34:19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the lord deliverer him out of them all.” .
It seems that immediately after you decide to give your life to Christ , problems, persecution, and afflictions increase. But I have found in my walk with the Lord, the greater the warfare, the greater my anointing; the deeper the depth, the greater my height .The harsher the attackers, the brighter my
destiny. The more I go through, the more I come out with :Thank You Jesus, Hallelujah, Praise the Lord

"Flowery Words”
There is a difference between a compliment and flattery! Compliments are sincere and unselfish, while flattery is overstated and sometimes a complete lie. told with the intention for selfish gain.
2 Corinthians 11:14 reveals that Satan “masquerades as an angel of light.” He comes with enticing promises and flattering words, that appeals to our pride, ego, and flesh. It is important that we ask the Lord for discernment to deliver us from the snare of flattering lips

"Bird Talk"
Not sure of the author of this little poem, but it has encouraged me numerous times. It is a faith- booster and a stress –buster during times of doubt/anxiety..
Said the Robin to the Sparrow:
" I would really like to know,
why these anxious human beings
rush around and worry so.”
Said the Sparrow to the Robin:
“I think that it must be,
that they have no heavenly Father
such as cares for you and me.”
Matthew 6:26 - Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feed them. Are ye not much better than they?

“Midnight Crisis”
We’ve all faced a "midnight crisis," be it sickness, trials, or tribulations.
Let me remind you of what Paul and Silas did , when they were experiencing a” midnight crisis”- while in prison
."And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened and every one’s bands were loosed ( Acts 16: 25-26)
Three things to remember when you are experiencing a “midnight crisis”:
1,Prayer and Praise are powerful spiritual weapons.
2 God does some of His best work when we think it’s too late.
3. One minute after midnight, it’s a new day!

"To All The Single Ladies".
Ladies, if you’re not good enough for him to marry then you shouldn’t be good enough for him to sleep with either. Sex is an institution of marriage, and a man who loves you would be willing to wait for you; knowing that your body is a holy temple and belongs to God.
You are definitely worth the wait to a true man of God!. Oh by the way,, Not even when “he puts a ring on it” but after you have been to the chapel, and you have been marrrrrrrried!!.
(1 Corinthians 6:19) " know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

“Do I have a witness?”
Let’s thank God not just for what we went through - but the trouble that we escaped. He protected us, in our foolishness. As I look back over my own life, I can’t help but to thank and praise God for unanswered prayer. Yes, that’s right, unanswered prayer!
That person, that thing, that job, that I didn't get, God shielded me because it would have shipwrecked my life. Do I have a witness?
Jeremiah 29:11 - For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

“Complacency ”
Sometimes, we as Christians fall into a state of complacency. We do so not intentionally, but it happens gradually. We become so preoccupied with our busy schedule, and activities, that we tend to crowd God out of the picture. When this happens, we are being "cooked”.
There are two ways to cook a frog, by dropping it in some boiling hot water. Or by putting it in a pan of lukewarm water, and then slowly turning the heat up: before it knows what is happening, the frog’s goose is cooked!
" Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walking about, seeking whom he may devour"

" Come Sunday Morning/ No Other Gospel"
The reason for our existence is to glorify, serve, and love the Lord. The rest is added to us! .Jesus never taught the “prosperity gospel,” but He did preach the “persecution gospel.” Matthew 5:10: “Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” Jesus said, “If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also.” John 16:33 says,, “In this world you will have trouble…”
So my friend, beware of this “prosperity gospel” that focuses on money, comfort, and happiness Let's ask ourselves, Did Jesus’ preaching sound like this? What was His emphasis? How did He live?

“Falling Down But Not Falling Away”
We’ve all been tripped up by the devil. Before we sin, the devil tempts us, and after we sin, he accuses us. His goal is not only for us to fall down, but for us to fall away from God,
Remember my friend, If you get up just once more than you fall, then you’re a success! So, get back up ,and fall forward!
Proverbs 24:16 'For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again"

"Not the Gold, But God’s Glory”
We live in a materialistic age, that often leads us to believe that our happiness comes from things, rather than God. But seeking the treasures and pleasures of this world is an endeavor, that profits nothing in the end!
While it is nothing wrong with having earthly treasure, we can not allow these things to 'have us". Our focus should be on God, serving others, and helping them to grow in Christ.
“ For one’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.” . Luke 12:15
