“ A Little Something To Think About”
Who are the people in your life who you see as spiritual giants; they’re probably not people for whom life has been easy and simple. Most likely, they are people who have had to struggle ( who came up on the rough side of the mountain) ;people who have been through painful times. Perhaps, you even
witnessed a grateful attitude throughout their struggles. Well my friend, God has also given you a great opportunity to learn, grow, , and to glorify Him. Let’s not misrepresent Him, by complaining, or grumbling (Philippians 2:14.)

“My Dwelling Place ”
He that dwells in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty (Psalm 91:1)
The Secret Place is a place of ultimate faith in God . It’s a place in God where we know that God has everything under control , and there is no fretting over our circumstances or troubles. We have that calm assurance that all is well, and that nothing the Devil throws at us, will have power over us , because we are close enough to God to get in His shadow!
So my friend, are you in that secret place today

"Hope"
Psalms 43:5 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God:
We can easily lose hope: in life, in our selves, and even in God, because life can be a bit disappointing. Despair often spirals one into depression , helplessness and a sense of hopelessness. But my friend, the Good News is that as Christians we were given hope ,when Jesus died on the cross and rose again from the grave. No longer are we destined to hopelessness! We have the ultimate assurance that things will get better, because our hope is in God. The song writer, pinned these words, “My hope is built on nothing
less…Than Jesus’ blood and righteousness …I dare not trust the sweetest frame, But wholly lean on Jesus’ name.”
Let the redeemed shout Hallelujah

"God’s Power to Pull Off the Plan”
God has a great and wonderful future planned for you. You have a divine purpose. So I want to encourage you, to go for it and stick with it. Don’t give up, don’t give in!!! God is up to something, because He did not only put the idea, the dream and the will into your heart ; but that He also has already equipped you with the power to accomplish His plan. Wow!
“For it is God who works in you, both to will and to accomplish, according to his good will.” (Philippians 2:13

“People Pleaser or God Seeker?”
Galatians 1:10 "For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a bond-servant of Christ "
Pleasing those we love may not be wrong in and of itself. But pleasing God is a higher calling and much more fulfilling. We are headed for trouble when our desire to please people and gain their approval becomes as important as pleasing God and sensing His approval . The Bible tells us to be at peace with
others, to encourage and respect them and to show them honor, but we’re never called to please others! So are you a “People Pleaser or God Seeker?

“Excuse Me”
As they were walking along the road, a man said to him, "I will follow you wherever you go." Jesus replied, "Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head."
He said to another man, "Follow me." But the man replied, "Lord, first let me go and bury my father." Jesus said to him, "Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and proclaim the kingdom of God."
Still another said, "I will follow you, Lord; but first let me go back and say good-by to my family." Jesus replied, "No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.[Luke 9:57-62]
My friend, we must be willing to abandon everything that has given us security and not allow anything to distract us from what God is calling us to do . And no,
we are not excused!

“ An Incredible Promise”
Joel 2:25 And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten.....
In order for us to grow, God sometimes has to strip away everything we put our security in - everything else but him. This is because He is a God of restoration. He restores our minds, our emotions, our souls and our health. When we start to restore a beautiful expensive piece of antique furniture we have to first strip away the old paint varnish before we apply a new finish. We have to sand it so the new application will stick. If you are going through that
stripping process, don't be upset. Cooperate with God while He does the work. In the end , you will be dazzling!!

“It’s Personal”
The LORD is My shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes Me to lie down in green pastures: he leads Me beside the still waters.
He restores My soul: he leads Me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with Me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort Me.
Thou prepares a table before Me in the presence of Mine enemies: thou anoints My head with oil; My cup runs over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow Me all the days of My life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever. (Psalm 23)
An all familiar Psalm written by David contains 17 Personal Pronouns. letting us know that we must have a personal relationship with God
My friend , do you have a personal relationship with Christ? If not , please ask the Lord to come into your heart. (Romans 10:9-10)

“Hang On In There”
Apostle Paul" This one thing I do;" "I press toward the mark; for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:14 ) Paul is talking about pressing toward a goal, winning a race, trying to obtain the prize. He states in verse 13; in running the race , one thing he does is forgetting those things that are in the past and reaches for the future. In other words, he doesn’t look back! He knew that there were some goals he did not achieve, some obstacles, distractions, and , dejections, he faced but he refused to dwell on them . Why you may ask , because God wants us to press forward In the face of opposition. So Come on , I know you got a deep press in your spirit, Hang on in there!!! Your blessing is coming when you least expect

"Discouragement"
Satan uses discouragement in the lives of the believer to convince us to turn away from God. He tries to persuade us into believing that God himself is not concerned with us, and that when we pray, we are talking to the ceiling. Satan is the father of lies!!! . Remain faithful in dark times, pray without ceasing, speak God’s Word over all of your circumstances, and God will always give you the victory. Some times when we don’t know what to do, we shouldn’t do anything at all. “Be still and know that I am God” (Psalm 46:10)

John 10:27- My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
"Whose voice are you listening to?"
When you are going through so much It s a good feeling, to know that you are God made, not man made. You listen to another drummer, who orchestrates and designs every detail of your life. The most interesting thing abut this kind of journey, is that you are no longer afraid to accept the challenges, so that you may feel the exhilaration of the victory!!

“Perpetrating A Fraud"
All of us need to be wary and watchful. We must examine the fruits of all those who claim to represent Jesus Christ—in the way they live and the doctrines they teach/ preach. Recall Christ's warning that false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect" (Matthew:24:24 ) These perpetrators s are growing by leaps and bounds, and are infiltrating the church –with a Social gospel –“ I’m OK ,You’re OK” The truth of the matter is no, you and I are not OK. It’s only by the preaching of the Gospel, and the transforming work of the Holy Spirit , that our hearts and lives are changed!!!

"Better Not Bitter"
Whenever you encounter a challenge, don’t let it overwhelm you. Realize that you can trust God to lead you successfully through it. Rather than focusing on the negative ( complaining, blaming, or feeling sorry for yourself), focus on the positive by rejoicing in how God is using your experience to make you a stronger and better Christian. Remember your situation is not your destination!!!
Have an amazing weekend.

" It's Tight But it's Right "
John 14: 6 Jesus said, " I am the way and the truth, and the life.....
What I am referring to is the notion that everyone is going to make it to heaven as long as they are spiritual or “good” or pray to a higher being. It doesn’t matter if they are Muslim or Buddhist or whatever. This sounds warm and fuzzy, but it isn’t true. As Christians we should not lie to people who God loves and died for. If the truth offends , then we must offend. Ask yourself if they are going to be more offended now, hearing the truth from you , or later on Judgment Day, when it will be too late. For heaven sake, won't you risk your reputation for their salvation!

"Spiritual Compass"
We need to remind ourselves often who we are and why we are here. Every one of us has been chosen by God for a divine purpose. No matter what we have done, where we have been, how much we have gone through, God has a purpose for our lives! In trying to find our way through life's journeys, God has given us a spiritual compass to guide us. That guide is the Holy Spirit. When we don't know what to do or which way to turn, the Holy Spirit always points us in the right direction.
John 14:26 - But the Comforter, [which is] the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance:)

“It’s a Good Thing”
Have you ever experienced God’s chastening ? Did you learn from it? Can you look back and say, you cannot sin and win? If so, you are tremendously blessed!
Untamed sin in our lives is dangerous, and therefore God must discipline us. “For whom the Lord love he chasten‘( Hebrews 12:6) God chastened David for his sin with Bathsheba. He chastened Jonah for his disobedience, and as you know God is no respecter of person!. His primary desire and purpose is to sanctify us- to set us apart for His use. So even as hard as it may be, let us welcome God’s love through His discipline

“Soaring Eagle”
The eagle uses a storm to lift itself higher. When a storm is approaching , the eagle will fly to a high place and wait for the winds to come. And when the storm hits its wings, the wind will pick it up and lift it above the storm. I’m reminded of these beautiful lyric of a familiar song. “ Lord lift us up where we belong, Where the eagles fly on a mountain high”
Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run , and not be weary: and they shall walk and not faint
Soar like an Eagle

“Hot Topic”
Jesus said that a certain rich man died and went down to hell, and was in torment, and he cried out, "I am tormented in these flames." He said that the man was anxious for his brothers to repent, so that they would not come to that "place of torment." (Luke 16:19-31)
There are more Scriptures in the Bible that teach about Hell, than teach about Heaven. If you die without Jesus Christ, without being born again, the Bible says you will go to Hell and suffer in a bottomless pit.
Don’t believe the prosperity preachers, that preach a Sugar-Coated ‘Ear Candy’ Gospel. They are more interested in your money than your soul. There is a special place reserved in hell, just for them! In fact, the Bible says “Woe is me if I don't preach the gospel” (1 Cor. 9:16)
Let the real church say, Amen

Savior & Lord
Before his conversion, Paul, then known as Saul of Tarsus, was in total rebellion against Jesus and the Gospel. But the day he met Christ, Paul asked – “Lord, what wilt Thou have me to do?’ Paul asked this question because He wanted to get to know Jesus, not as a mere acquaintance but as Savior and Lord of his life.He wanted to be completely overtaken with Jesus!
My friend, how do you know Jesus? Is He just your Savior who rescued you from eternal damnation, or do you obey and worship Him as Lord, Master, and King over your life? Needless to say, He wants to be both! Won’t you yield to Him today?
‘“That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings,”( Phil. 3:10,

"My Request"
James 1:5 starts ,”If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God …”. God’s wisdom is available to us, but we must sense the need, ask, and receive it. So, when we don’t know what to do, where to go, or how to handle a situation, let us pray and ask God for wisdom.
Moreover, asking God for wisdom should be a never-ending prayer request ,because seeking God’s face will bring us to the point of absolute dependence on Him, which is exactly where our weakness is made strong.
Lord I pray, that you may grant us wisdom so that we may live more godly lives ,in your name Lord Jesus, I pray. Amen
