“God's Greatest Gift to the World”

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)
Thank You Heavenly Father, for sending your only begotten Son into the world, to die for my sins and giving me the only gift that truly keeps on giving: the gift of eternal life.

"3 Requirements"
“And what does the LORD require of you But to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?" (Micah 6:8)
Some might think all the Lord require of us is attending church on Sunday, but the Lord requires more than that!. What God requires of us is” (1) to do justly” , it means to do what is honorable and fair, and what is morally right: (2) “to love mercy” - to show a compassionate warm- heartedness toward man, widows , the fatherless, and even toward our enemies : “(3) and to walk humbly with our God” means to acknowledge that God is in charge and not us.

"Training Tips"
As long as you are on the front line of the battle and you have a divine assignment from God, there should be an expectation that the enemy is going to come after you.. Don't fret he is only doing his job. Instead be more concern, if the enemy is Not bothering you., because it could be that you are not “in the game”, not making any points, for Kingdom of God, but just sitting on the side line.
"Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receive the prize? So run, that ye may obtain ( 1 Corinthian 9:24

“Patience: The Benefits of Waiting”
I am reminded of this beautiful song recorded by James Cleveland
”Please be patient with me…. God is not through with me yet…. when God gets through with me…..I shall come forth like pure gold. “
Patience is an important virtue for a Christian to develop. It gives us the ability to be a true witness for the glory of God. What is God working in
you? What weakness needs strengthening? What strength needs challenging? What attitude needs changing? Our God is able!!! “ But let patience have her perfect work ... ( James 1:4)

" A Blessing in Disguise ”
The Bible tells us that those who desire to live godly in the world will suffer persecution. Often times, Christians find themselves in a hostile environment, hated by those who are closest to them; and even by those who profess the same faith - but actually are false brethren. But we can rejoice in persecution, because we know that God uses persecution to perfect us !!!
So, I want to encourage someone today with a Scripture that spoke to the depth of my spirit, while being under satanic attack. “ Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.” (Matthew 5:11-12)

"it's Under the Blood"
There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1-5 Stop allowing the Devil to play with your mind, with feelings of guilt, shame, and condemnation. If you have asked God for forgiveness, whatever you have said, done, or thought, is under the Blood! .You are not chained to a corpse, you have been set free ! Stop merely existing , and start living

"Pay Day"
Do you remember the man who came to Jesus and said, "I’ll follow you wherever you go"? Jesus said, "Before you make that kind of commitment, you need to realize that foxes have holes and the birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head." .[Luke 9:57-62]
"In other words, if you follow me, there will be times when you will not know where you’ll sleep, or where your next meal is coming from. There will be difficult and discouraging times. But after you realize that, and then put your hands to the plow," He said, "don’t look back." I just want to encourage someone today not to" look back," because God doesn’t always pay on Fridays, but pay day is coming, yes even with interest!!!

“ My Dwelling Place ”
He that dwells in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty (Psalm 91:1)
The Secret Place is a place of ultimate faith in God . It’s a place in God where we know that God has everything under control , and there is no fretting over our circumstances or troubles. We have that calm assurance that all is well, and that nothing the Devil throws at us, will have power over us , because we are close enough to God to get in His shadow!
So my friend, are you in that secret place today?

"Outlook v Outcome"
Greed and covetousness are major reasons why we don't give God His rightful praise. Often times we get to thinking about what we don't have, and , and envy and jealousy sits in. But instead, we need to focus on what we do have , and realize that fulfillment is in God and not in things – (Lk. 12:15.) So I must ask, is your glass half full, or half empty? Are you complaining, or praising? Because your outlook often affects your outcome!

“Precious Memories”
After Joshua and the people had crossed the Jordan, the Lord told Joshua to choose twelve men from among the people, one from each tribe, and tell them to take up twelve stones from the middle of the Jordan , and to carry them over and put them down at the place ,where they would stay that night.( Joshua 4:9)
The Lord knew that they were “short-minded “people, and that they would soon forget all that He had just done for them. . Likewise, let us not be ‘short minded” and forget the victories, the blessings, and the miracles God has given us. A few stones, can serve as a great reminder!

“Drifting”
Many have drifted away from the Lord, we would be arrogant to say it could not happen to us! The process of backsliding is a gradual one. By the time we become "friends with the world", it is only a short time before we take the next and final step of backsliding.
We cannot "flirt with the world", or "tap toe" with the devil, and walk away unscathed! Our salvation in Christ is simply too great for us to neglect! So my friend, keep rowing, be diligent, and watch out for undercurrents!
“Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.” (Hebrews 2:1).

“Crossing the Finish Line”
All of us are involved in a race—the race of life! Paul, compares life with that of an athletic contest (1 Corinthians 9:24) As in any contest, the important factor is not how many begin the competition but who finishes the race, stays on course, and who wins the prize..
So, don’t quit , don’t give in , don’t give up, don’t bow and don’t bend. Look straight ahead! Keep your eyes on the prize, and whenever you get tired be like that little Choo- Choo train, and say to yourself “I think I can…I think I can…
.I know I can… .I know I can”
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”. (Philippians 4:13)

"Forgiveness"
Forgiveness is not quick and easy! It takes time to heal and to trust again after being wounded, .Now, I know that as Christians we often think that forgiveness means forgetting, but only God can forget. We are humans with memories!
Sometimes, on the road to forgiveness we need to remember/revisit all the horrible things that happened to us, so that we can unpack the emotional baggage that keeps us down. But my friend, we must not stay down, because forgiving is not something we do for someone else, forgiving is letting go so we are no longer the victim and can move on,
“I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me “
(Philippians 4:13)

"God’s Divine Providence ”
God in His Divine Providence will organize and pull things together to bring about His sovereign plan for your life. He is in complete control of all things!
Joseph was hated by his brothers, stripped of his clothing, sold for the price of a slave, falsely accused, bound in chains, thrown into a pit, and then put into prison, but by the will of God, he ended up in a palace!
So no matter what, remember that God will bring about His own ultimate end. And what God means to happen, will ultimately happen. Smile! He’s working it out for your good!
"As for you, you meant evil against me, but God used it for good. (Genesis 50:20

"Dressed to Kill "
We are in a spiritual battle, a spiritual war, a spiritual fight, but God gives us the armor and weapons that we need to use.Yet ,it’s up to us to put them on and use them! Here they are: the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the boots of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the spirit along with prayer.”(Ephesians 6:11-12)
So let’s make sure that we are "dressed to kill" sharp as a razor, so that we can defend and defeat any attack Satan may throw at us. Without the whole armor, we are defenseless against his tricks, deceit, and lies :and we will fall victim to his attacks. Remember my friend, Jesus has already won the war, the victory is ours
