“Mass Deception”

The Bible teaches us to be aware of falling into deception. The Great Deceiver tempted Adam and Eve in the garden. When he was told that God had forbid them to eat of the fruit, Satan asked, “Did God really say that?” The message of Christ is no different today than it was over 2,000 years ago. “I am the way, the truth and the life. No man comes to the
father but by me.” – (John 14:6) The Great Deceiver still asks the same  old question; “Did Jesus really say that?” My friend, Jesus never stuttered!!

“This is How We Do It”
When we work, we work as for the Lord and not for men. No matter what the circumstances, we can find fulfillment and satisfaction in our work, as long as we keep God as our priority. We have the opportunity to show the love and character of Jesus Christ, when we don't lag, drag or moan. Let us represent our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ well by being faithful and diligent in 2014!
Colossians  3:23 – And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men.

It's All in Your Mind"

The battleground over temptation is either won or lost in your mind. And what the mind accepts, the heart eventually follows. The enemy uses the eyes, the ears, and the mouth, to gain entrance to your mind. You have to fight to get the right things in your mind, and the wrong things out of your sight,

Paul told young Timothy, Run from anything that stimulates youthful lusts.(2 Timothy 2:22) To apply this text, never allow your hormones or emotions to dictate your behavior, stay away from things that arouse you sexually, ; `sexually explicit movies, pornographic websites, friends who are sexually immoral, and places that make you forget that you are saved. It's about holiness my friend, and” No”, Holiness is not a bad word! It’s a lifestyle!

Patience:
Colossians 3:12-13, : "Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another..."
God invests a lot of time in us and is not ready to wipe us out because of our mistakes. Instead, He encourages us not to quit.So the next time you or someone you know makes a mistake, be gentle, kind and encouraging.
We will all say the words, "Oops, I made a mistake," many times before we reach our full potential. But keep trying. Keep learning. Keep forgiving. We are all under construction !

Balm in Gilead

Gilead, is a region in Israel that is known for its medicinal balm. The nation of Israel had many wounds , and welts because God had punished them for their deep seated rebellion, and for worshiping other gods.
“Is there no balm in Gilead? Is there no physician there? Why then is there no healing for the wound of my people?” — Jeremiah 8:22
Likewise, we need some healing salve to mend our broken sin sick soul. My friend , Jesus is the Balm in Gilead!!

“Anger Management”
Anger is a God-given emotion that warns us that something is wrong. Anger is a good thing, it’s all about how we express it. If we acknowledge when we are angry, we can use that feeling to bring about great change!
On the other hand, if we fail to deal with it properly it can become poisonous, and eat a hole in our hearts. Its important that we Recognize it in ourselves, Reflect on what is causing our anger, and then Release it to God. Anger that is left unchecked can turn into depression, and bitterness .My friend, let’s break it’s ugly grip!!
Ephesians 4:26 - Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath
